It is a building of great historical importance, in fact, the Palace was built in the 16th century by the military architect of the Kingdom of Naples Gian Giacomo dell'Acaya, known for having created important historical works, such as the walls of the city of Lecce with its Castle Charles V, and the Renaissance fortified city of Acaya. The Palace was also the seat of the German Empire Consulate and chosen by Emperor Guglielmo II of Germany on his visit to the Salento.

The main hall of the building is entirely frescoed with paintings from the 1700s, which enchant and delight the guest. The room, characterized by a sloping wooden roof, is preceded by a comfort area with access door to the private bathroom.
Le Librerie Suite
The name of the room is due to the presence of a library that contains ancient volumes that can be consulted by guests, full of historical information about Salento peninsula and Italy. With its 29 square meters it is the largest suite, with an extremely bright double bedroom thanks to the presence of a window and balcony overlooking Via Antonietta De Pace, the main street of the historic centre of Gallipoli. In the antechamber there is an additional single bed with a headboard in local “leccese stone”; from here you enter the bathroom with a large shower and window.
Guglielmo II Suite
A Double suite of 25 square meters, whose peculiarity lies in the large shower in frosted glass present directly in the room, together with a first sink. The toilets are instead accessible from the door located at the entrance of the room. Also equipped with an independent balcony overlooking the main road and a side view of the sea of Gallipoli.
Gian Giacomo dell'Acaya Suite
Of particular importance is this Suite as there are numerous and authentic furnishing elements that belonged to a very influential religious people of the time. The room measures 19 square meters and has a private bathroom complete with a large window and a shower obtained from an old stone fireplace.
Double room of 23 square meters, characterized by the presence of two private terraces, to be used for relaxation. It is possible to access the outside from the large balcony door in the bedroom. The bathroom has toilet facilities separated by the large stone shower with a bright window that overlooks the terraces.
